The company needed a fresh new website to promote the quality, seamless experience they offer to both guests and owners and make booking a stay easy. We were proud to deliver a website that focuses on the needs of their customers to drive conversions.
A user-centric design conveys a seamless stay
Location 4 Saisons’ new website is primarily functional yet attractive, prioritizing an intuitive user experience. The homepage hero image sets the scene showing a glistening lake surrounded by forested mountains. The soothing soft zoom effect immerses visitors in a sense of place.
The simple design is laser focused on the site’s purpose: selling vacation home bookings to guests and property management services to owners. There are no distractions here. Plenty of whitespace—subtly watermarked with the company’s logo for interest, visual appeal, and to reinforce branding—lets the properties speak for themselves.
The beautiful chalets do indeed sell themselves. Presented center stage within convenient carousel sliders, each property links to its own page for complete information. Every property page includes a photo gallery slideshow with large, professional images, a written description, a comprehensive amenity list helpfully categorized into separate tabs, a unit-specific booking button that takes visitors directly to an availability search for that specific property, and a carousel of similar properties for effortless browsing.
Back on the homepage, the online booking engine is prominently featured via an overlaid booking widget on the hero image and in the horizontal menu along the top of the page (which sticks to the top of the screen as you scroll so you don’t have to go all the way back up to book!). Right from the get-go, visitors can tell that booking a stay with Location 4 Saisons is convenient and easy.
The simple navigation and consistent formatting also contribute to an intuitive user experience, making it easy for visitors to find the information they need. This translates to mobile too. The responsive design prioritizes the most important content and is instinctive to use across devices with a mobile hamburger menu, prominent call-to-action buttons, and horizontal scrolling.
